This application is specifically designed for individuals who are new to PLCs and wish to grasp the fundamental concepts of "How a PLC works" while also providing them with a simple simulator to experiment with basic programming. The application comprises three main sections: "How a PLC works", "PLC Block Diagram", and the PLC Simulator.
The PLC Simulator offers beginners an opportunity to acquire programming skills through the usage of 3 timers, 2 counters, 6 compare instructions, 2 Binary outputs, and 3 RES outputs. The user interface is highly user-friendly, and even first-time users can easily navigate through the app with the help of an information icon that illustrates its simplicity.
The addition of a new SAVE feature allows users to initiate a program and return to it at a later time.
Moreover, this application serves as a valuable tool in helping individuals comprehend the exam-off instruction [-], as well as the "Seal-In" or "Latching" logic often encountered in motor start/stop circuits and other similar applications.
